Ok guys.
My motherboard was fryed or i dont know what but it wasnt working.
So i gave it for warranty cover and they gave me a repaired motherboard. After that i got my CPU,PSU and Memory,GPU checked. So last night i assembled my PC and fortunately it posted.I heard the beep saw the display on the monitor. Then fortunately my old OS also booted from the HDD.But i forgot my password since it has been long gone and i dont care about it also anyways i was going to format. The problem is last night I got greedy and also put a GTS 250 on my PC and in the morning when i booted up it worked fine till one time everytime I turn it on after some time the PC automatically shuts down and restarts so I removed the xtra GPU.It is still hapening I even tried switching the pci-e slots of my original gpu. After a given time like 2 mins it always shutsdown.Doesnt matter what I do even if Boot from the HDD or the CD-ROM or even the ubuntu flash drive everytime the samething happens it shutsdown and without any explanation and then turns on again automatically.
Please help.

Reset the cmos by pulling the cmos battery and unplugging the power supply and then press the power button on the case a few times. Wait a minute and then reinsert battery and power cord to psu and turn on.

I tried that already.

Anyways you wont believe it but I disassembled my PC
re assembled it outside the case(tell me a word for if there is one)then installed the os put it back in the case and now its working .

Its pretty unbelievable.
Thanks anyways

Sounds like you had a short somewhere in the case. Do you have all the standoffs installed into the case? They must match the holes on the motherboard.

Ok Problem NOT solved.
I installed the operating system it was working fine. But now it turns off randomly at any point. Some times midboot or sometimes after the operating system is booted up.
The PC shuts down randomly.
Once I used it for an hour or so and after that shuts down randomly.
The electrical wiring is pretty bad at my place. So because of that i use this.

Is this because of my spike or what.Because I tried connecting my pc straight to the socket but the same thing happened.
And whenever my PC shuts down the MCB DOES NOT TRIP.It stays as it is.So i dont think it has something to do with the wiring still I thought I might ask.

I am not sure what the problem is related to.But I think the problem is either with the wires or PSU or Spike or wiring or some case loose end.

And since now it randomly shuts off I am not sure whether there is any loose wiring or not because that wouldnt make it shut off randomly at any time it wouldnt turn on if there were a short.I have Blue lighting in my HAF so I did some dirty wiring myself.

Please help me I am very confused frustrated and flabbergasted. You can see that from all my posts

By the sounds of it, it's a bad powersupply... Shutting off with no warning. Doing anything intensive when it happens?

I got my PSU checked.
I might have to do it again.
Even I think so that its a bad PSU.
Can It be because of some loose wire touching the case because that wouldnt turn it off randomly right?

When it boots into Windows, download and run HWMonitor from here:

ftp://ftp.cpuid.com/hwmonitor/hwmonitor_1.17-setup.exe

check your temps.

The 2 common reasons for it just shutting down would be temperature, or as has already been mentioned, power supply. Why it was sporadically working inside and outside of the case, I'm not sure. Cutting power from it for a period may have been what sorted it, though a normal shut down should have been enough.

Does it only ever fail to boot once it is into the Windows boot sequence, or has it ever failed during POSTing?

It has posted every time without fail but posting like requires max 10 seconds only.
It has shutdown during the boot sequence randomly. And sometimes booted up and I have used it for some time and then it shut off randomly.

I dont think temps is an issue I use the AC MX2 and after it has shut off randomly I have touched the heatsink and seen it was not that hot at all.It was at normal temperature only. For now I have not installed the TRUE 120 been using the stock heatsink only.I have touched and seen the heatsink it was not that hot.But I will try the HW monitor might be because of improper application of the thermal paste(which I doubt).

The other thing is the PSU.I will get my PSU checked again.(But really unreliable technicians here). And all my friends have chinese made unbranded PSUs of 380W so I definately cant use them.

Do you think it can be because of one of the uncovered fan wires?

PS Thanks for the quick reply buddy.

download that, it is the bootable WD hard drive test program. As it is only happening once the hard drive is accessed, it could potentially be an issue with either the hard drive or with your installation of Windows .

I doubt it is the fan with the wires for 2 reasons:

1. if it was shorting, generally it will either kill the fan header or kill the fan, but not do anything to the entire system

2. If it was shorted from when you first turn the computer on, it wouldn't even POST if it was causing it to shut down

I would test it anyway just to be on the safe side, but I wouldn't expect a fix

Booted the computer without connecting the fan wires to the PSU but didnt work shut off again after 7 minutes.

And as for Hardware the temps are normal keeping in mind that mine is a hotchip.

didnt do any processor intensive tasks was just playing chess.

I have attatched the HW report.

I will try the HDD test

Unless I'm mistaken, it seems that you have a low voltage rating on your 3.3v rail.
