Building my pc - couple of questions

First, I want to introduce myself since I'm new to this forum. I'm just a regular PC gamer that knows a bit about technology and has built some PCs already. Now back to the question.
Recently, with my old PC slowly dying and new awesome games coming out(Battlefield 3), I've decided to sum up a couple of bucks and build my Gaming PC that will serve me without any upgrades for 2 years to come. Now these are my parts:
CPU: Intel i7 2600k
Motherboard: Asus P8P67 Pro
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 570
Storage: 2TB western digital 7200RPM black
Optical Drive: Samsung SH223
Case: Fractal Design R3
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-850HX 850 Watt
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Now i have a couple of questions:
1. Are all those parts compatible with each other? I'm pretty sure they are but would like you guys to confirm that.
2. Will this machine be able to play all the upcoming games at full graphics with no lag?
3. Is it better to have one big hard drive (2TB), or two smaller ones (2 x 1TB). Are SSDs worth it?
4. I am planning to overclock the i7 2600k to around 4.5 Ghz.What custom AIR cooling would you recommend for cooling that? Up to 50 bucks.
Thanks for any answers guys(and girls).

The cpu and motherboard will work together. Nice on the 8 gigs of Ripjaws; G.Skill makes good memory; used it myself on gaming rig builds.

Thanks a lot! Do you think that i should invest in a 2TB western digital or two 1TB seperate drives?

I like the fact that you are going with the Western Digital Black series. Other than gaming what will be the other main functions of your system? What will require a full 2 terabytes?

Well I would do two separate drives, that way you can backup whatever you wish to the other in case either one of them die or you encounter a problem. Fantastic build though :D!

What titles do you plan on playing? Also, I bet you could save the cash and go with a 2500k.

Also- What about two spinpoint F3 1TB drives?

I do some video editing for my family and friends, which is why i want the 2TB just to be safe and not have to deal with any storage problems. But i'm heavily considering going for two 1tb drives because having a back up of the main one is always nice:). There's plenty of space in this case if i ever run out of storage(which i doubt).

Thanks dude! I'm pretty convinced at going for the two hard drives.

I know that the i5 2500k is the best sweetspot bang for buck processor right now. So i'm not final on my CPU choice yet. I don't know if it's really worth the additional 100 bucks for a slight adavantage the 2600k has over the 2500k.

I'm looking forward to Battlefield 3, Half life 2 episode 3, Portal 2 (already out),maybe doom4, and i'm considering MW3 (not really sure since last one was a failure)

By the way, that Corsair psu is a very good choice. I built my brother-in-law a gaming rig using that very psu and it is a dream to work with.

Thanks again for the recomendation! I went with the 850V corsair so that there wouldn't be a problem if i ever wanted to add double GPUs:D. Also what do you think about the GTX570? Will that thing handle upcoming titles with no problems?
