I kind of agree with this comment. HDMI is pretty good (decent connection speed and picture), but I have also read that HDMI falls short of DVI for the fact of type of connection. DVI has more contacts (different grade connections to differ contrast range, color, and such) while HDMI has fewer with the addition of audio. VGA just falls short of both.
This is something that can be researched and found with various responses. From what i have seen from majority for PICTURE QUALITY (not adding the added bonus of audio, just based on picture) was the following order:
1. DVI
2. HDMI
3. VGA
4. S-Video
5. Component Video
6. RCA (can't think of the correct term used, consists of yellow, red, white)
7. Coax Cable
** 1 being the best picture quality, 7 being the worst **
