Really Blues are good eh? I bought 10 of them for the new machine I am building. The first 5, (The machine will be using 5), were : 1) Minor sector damage scattered all over the drive but otherwise good. 2) Not even recognized by the bios 3) MAJOR sector damage on the front part of the drive 4) Very low read speed as opposed to # 1 and MAJOR sector damage at the rear of the drive 5) Again very low read speed and minor sector damage all over the drive.
So I sent them back for a refund and bought 5 more. Three of them tested damaged with TESTHDD and the other two I haven't tested yet, Havent even opened the sealed packages they came in.
I think you depend too much on that testhdd program as its not even a popular program. I think if you would have actually used a decent program, you would find out that some of those drives were not bad.
