Yeah, that 780i can do tri-SLI at x16/x16/x16, and yes quad-SLI is available and has been for a few years now.

SLI never used to be able to support more than one monitor, I have a feeling it can now though.

hm, okay, shouldn't be an issue, as SLI only needed for games, and they are single screen anyways. I hope it won't be a pain in the neck to switch between SLI/non-SLI (no hardware tinkering involved!)

a drop from i7 to i5.. and RAM latency is 9, I was hoping for 7 or at most 8..

but it's definitely a great deal! half the price!! :good:

So I did some thorough research and came up with a few updates:
