not to knock your build suggestion, but that PSU is garbage. He needs a quality unit from Antec, Corsair, NZXT, OCZ, PC power and cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, XFX, Kingwin, or Coolermaster.
Same with the case. Get a quality one from Corsair, Fractal Design, NZXT, Lian-Li etc etc.
Corsair Carbide 300R, that's a great budget case and would be my recommendation. If you can spend a bit more, go with the Define R3 from Fractal Design.
I just lol'd when I read "that PSU is garbage". Honestly, Rosewill make good quality power supplies and the warranty is great on them.not to knock your build suggestion, but that PSU is garbage. I understand that they are not the 'best', but with personal experience and going on the reviews, they make pretty good power supplies. I actually had 2 Rosewill 600W PSU's, they worked great, never had any problems with them.My bad about the case, sorry about that one. However, Rosewill do not make good PSUs. They're pretty low quality in comparison to what Corsair, Antec, OCZ, Seasonic etc etc have to offer. Rosewill are Newegg's in-house brand. I wouldn't buy a PSU from them.
You should never skimp out on a power supply, it is arguably the most important part of the whole system. You want to make sure you're getting a quality unit which provides clean and stable power, which the Rosewill likely does not.
