Mum just booted up the netbook, and was greeted with this:
and
I have connected an external monitor and it is not the graphics card. The netbook is a Packard Bell Dot S 510 Purple.
You may not be able to see, but there are massive cracks across the monitor also, and the cracks produce a ripple around them if you adjust the angle of the screen (open or close it).
I think that a cat may have jumped off of the windowsill onto the closed laptop, as the two "blobs" seem to resemble paw prints, and as I have a cat that weighs 1 stone, it is quite likely.
What I need to know is how easy (if possible) is it to replace. What would it cost, would I be able to do it? I have never encountered this before...so I have ZERO experience.
Any help is appreciated
