So I turned on my computer today and after a very long booting up a message popped up.
"Failed to connect to a windows service.
Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Service service. This problem prevents limited users from logging on to the system. As an adminitrative user you can review the System Even Log for details about why the service did not respond"
I tried reviewing the log, but nothing is in it. Not only the long boot up and shutdown times, but it has me in classic view (which I can't remember how to change).
I tried looking this up through Google. I tried the "netsh winsock reset" thing, didn't work. I tried the "services" disabling "Presentation Font Cache" didn't work.
I tried a virus scan, nothing showed up.
I tried Malware Bytes : no threats showed up.
System:
In sig ; Windows 7 (64bit) Home Premium (SP1) ; Antivirus: Bitdefender.
HelP?
