When downloading files from the internet, your browser will always give you the option to save it where ever you want.

Copy and paste is all you need to do. Right click on file you want to send to other drive and click on copy. Go to other drive and the location you want and right click, click on paste. If its a group of files or folders, left click and hold and highlight all files/folders and then right click, click on copy and then go to where you want to put them and right click, click on paste.

Amazing news

I don't know how I accomplished this but I was able to switch my default hard drive. Now when I go to download something it is automatically going into the new hard drive instead of the old one. I right clicked "pictures" then copy and paste into the new hard drive. Now it is set so that it is automatic and I no longer have to transfer from one hard drive to the other one.

So you copied and pasted your pictures folder to the new drive? Now you have two picture folders, one older and one newer.

You should delete the copy on your old drive, there really isn't any reason to have it in both spots. You will end up getting confused and have some photos saved to the pictures folder on the old drive, and others saved on the new drive.
