johnb35 Administrator Staff member Nov 2, 2014 #21 No need to run such high wattage psu unless you are using 3 high end cards in SLI or crossfire. Wasting your money if you aren't even using the psu to 80 percent of its potential. 600 watts should be plenty and you save 100 bucks.

The VCR King Well-Known Member Nov 2, 2014 #22 I am planning to take out my graphics card I have now and then put in 2 new R9s and crossfire them.
johnb35 Administrator Staff member Nov 2, 2014 #23 What model of r9? I can tell you exactly how much wattage you will need.

You'll still probably only need a good 750W or maybe 800W PSU but if 900 or 1000 is not much more expensive then take one I guess.

The VCR King Well-Known Member Nov 2, 2014 #27 Do they make Radeons with factory-OC or do I have to OC it myself?

The VCR King Well-Known Member Nov 2, 2014 #29 I will probably go with Sapphire because I currently have a Sapphire card installed.
johnb35 Administrator Staff member Nov 2, 2014 #31 650 watts is all you will need for 2 - 270x's in crossfire. I only buy Sapphire brand now, Asus would be my second choice most likely.
