Power Supply

I recently bought a gaming PC from cyberpowerpc. I am new to gaming pc and didn't know what to look up. I did my research on cpu and gpu but I didn't bother to check power supply. I got feedback from users to get rid of my standard power supply. I received my PC last week and I am very happy with my product, and I wouldn't want a bad PSU to fry my system. I want to change the PSU, maybe in a month or two not sure how urgent it is.

My question is:

1)Does my system need a power supply of 800 watts? When I made the build, I thought 800 W is better than the 600 W. I now want to buy crosair or EVGA, but their 800 watts is expensive.
2) I know my power supply is bad, but how long should I wait to replace it?

Here are my specs: (I edited stuff that I thought were unnecessary to include)
CASE: Phanteks Enthoo Pro w/ USB 3.0, Side-Panel Window
COOLANT: Standard Coolant
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-5930K Six-Core 3.50GHz 15MB Intel Smart Cache

Currently that system doesn't need anything higher than a 600 watt psu. What is the model number of the psu you have now? The corsair cx600 would be good enough.

I'd get more information of the existing PSU before just blindly replacing it. If you open the side of the case you should be able to see the branding on the unit (as well as other ratings for wattage).

Thanks for the reply. I don't know what the model number is. How do I get that information?

Open the side of the case and look for a model number. Should be on the side of the psu.

Thanks Johnb35, I opened it up, and I know where the powersupply is but it is covered with a metal box to protect it. The wiring is complicated as well and I don't want to mess up my new pc. Is it possible to find out from manufacturer?

You would be doing the same thing replacing the PSU...

Any chance on a picture of this metal box?

Ok, let's say I do want to remove powersupply I am assume first step is turn off the power then unscrew the back side. Then disconnect the power supply. The case that I have is http://www.amazon.co.uk/Phanteks-PH-ES614PC_BK-Enthoo-Enthusiast-without/dp/B00KFAG6DA
