I recently bought a gaming PC from cyberpowerpc. I am new to gaming pc and didn't know what to look up. I did my research on cpu and gpu but I didn't bother to check power supply. I got feedback from users to get rid of my standard power supply. I received my PC last week and I am very happy with my product, and I wouldn't want a bad PSU to fry my system. I want to change the PSU, maybe in a month or two not sure how urgent it is.
My question is:
1)Does my system need a power supply of 800 watts? When I made the build, I thought 800 W is better than the 600 W. I now want to buy crosair or EVGA, but their 800 watts is expensive.
2) I know my power supply is bad, but how long should I wait to replace it?
