Ah, well that's certainly something to try. Speaking of which, I never did get my RAM up to 3200 in the BIOS screen as I didn't see an option for it. I'm not sure if it did it automatically or what. But speaking of nudging to the top 10, do you think I should upgrade monitors? My usual attitude is just reuse every peripheral until it dies, but in this case I'm using an old flat screen VGA monitor. Could that be affecting performance at all having to compress from this up-to-date rendering environment back to VGA? To me when people talk about getting new monitors to "take advantage" of new video cards, they just seem like enthusiasts who want to see every little pixel in perfect working order, but if it would affect the fps at all I might think about getting a new one. Also, I'm still running Win 7, so I'm sure the DirectX version I'm using is pathetic compared to what a 1070 gtx can make use of.
EDIT- Nice score. I got up to 92% when I forced my non-updating Windows to do some updates. I have the newest Nvidia drivers, but there's still a lot of software related issues that aren't up-to-date. Maybe some firmware too.
