New computer crashes on certain videos

Hello everyone,

4-5 months ago I've bought a new computer. Now when I'm watching certain videos the computer crashes and I need to reset the machine. It also seems it crashes on the same video's. Let's say if I watch a video on youtube and the computer crashes, I reset it, go back to youtube and watch the same video it crashes again. But if I watch another video it wouldn't crash. Very weird...

This is the proccesor I'm using and the graphics card:
- INTEL-Core i7 8700 3.2-4.6GHZ 12MB 6 Core 12
- PNY-QUADRO® P1000 4GB GDDR5 640 CUDA CORES

Should I go back to the shop? Or do I just need to update some drivers?

It may be Youtube's fault. Recently they have been taking Google+ services down, and Youtube is very heavily built around Google+. This has been causing some issues with Youtube. I have had my browser crash a couple of times, but never the whole PC.

Sorry I didn't specify my "question" enough bcse my English is not too good. But my desktop also crashes on video's I upload on gyfcat, imgur etc... Also scrolling on facebook is impossible because certain clips causes a crash. So it's not just youtube.

Ok. Have you ran any virus/malware scans?

I'm using McAfee and I've ran a few scans in the past and I'm running one at this moment. Nothing suspicious in the past though.

Also the problem occurs since the beginning, so 4-5 months ago when I bought it. To express the issue in numbers I would say I've needed to reset my computer for +-20 times since I bought it, so +-20 crashes. I listen alot of music video's on YouTube so I wouldn't say the issue occurs that much.

If you can still return it, I would suggest doing that.

Well they builded the PC for me with the parts I wanted. So probably if a part is causing the failure I can exchange it. Any ideas which part can cause this kind of issues? Is it the graphics card?

It could be the GPU, but it could also be other parts as well, maybe even several.

If you got it built for you I would take it to them and explain your issue.
