Have taken pictures of the motherboard to establish the board and maker/model
You already told us the model of the motherboard.

As noted by the motherboard manual, the dark blue slot is PCI Express x16 which is what you will use for a video card.
The light blue slot on the bottom is PCI.
The small blue slot on the top is PCI Express X1.

Am I getting close?....

Just buy this card already. This will work for you.

YES, I DID BUT, THERE WAS SOME PREVIOUS QUESTION AS TO THE ACTIUAL BOARD NUMBER AND TO WHICH I POSTED PICTS LAST NIGHT. THE INFO RETURNED TO ME FROM ANOTHER MEMBER STATED A QUESTION ABOUT THE SLOTS ON THE BOARD.....(CAPS ARE NOT YELLING).

UPDATE...

I sent a question to the seller of that particular board as if will "work" with my asus MB and he replied "yes"...Then, I sent him a picture of the cords (ends) that come from the back of my dell monitors and asked I could connect those cords to his card and he replied "no"....I saw that the pin-out was different but, asked anyway.

I am on the verge of giving up.....

Some say the card WILL work...

The seller says it WILL FIT onto the MB...

The seller says it will NOT work because the cord from my dell monitor will not affix to the card......

Does it have a DVI and VGA Port?

UPDATE

Well, figured I would bite the bullet and get the card......Hope it works in all aspects....As stated, "some" say it will fit either into the computer but, not the cord to the card and "others" say it won't......

Transfered contents of small WIN 7 HD to a 1 TB HD......

WIll load XP "alongside" of it.....Have done this before w/out issue....

My next endeavor is to reconstruct-restore-rebuild damaged dbx outlook express files when my XP computer died (MB is fried)....

Just want all this computer crapola to be done and get on my my life...BUT, LEARNING A LOT HERE!

With the amount of money you've spent over the years on old crap you could have had one reliable and modern PC.
