ESU For Windows 10 Still Won't Work.

I'm still talking with Microsoft about getting ESU to work on Win10. After tomorrow if they can't get it to work, which would be like the 6th appointment with them they say they will have exhausted all options short of reformatting hard drive and starting entirely from scratch, which entirely defeats the purpose of protecting my data. And in any case isn't something I'd need tech support for. I need there help with technical nuances that I don't know anything about. Did there come a point when Windows got so convoluted that their own technical support can't figure it out?

Then it sounds like its a microsoft issue.
Yeah, probably best to just reinstall Win10 every time things get buggy over next few years and not worry about their security update which ends in a few months anyway? The guy said there were like thousands of files he would need to install manually which would take months that a clean install would do all at once. All I know is my updates worked fine until October. I wish they could just send me a file containing all updates without trying to revamp their updates system.

Better yet, just buy a new pc with windows 11 on it lol. The ESU program only lasts a year anyway.
I hate Win11. Otherwise I'd try to upgrade. I already have two computers for other things with Win11. They make life more difficult.

Can I create a Win10 reinstall bootable flash drive, then add an image of OS on same drive, or must it only include the files the media creator put on it to function as bootable?

There are ways to make taskbar and start menu look like windows 10. Use Open shell to give you the start menu and use explorer patcher to give you the ability to add toolbars and other options what windows 10 had.

it's either one or the other as far as installing on a pc. The image can only be used on the same pc that it took it from. Once you install windows 10 fresh and get all updates installed then you can take an image of that and use it when disaster strikes.

I'm not asking what computer it can be used for. I just want to be sure putting the iso image of OS on the boot flash drive won't make it not function because it has an extra file on it it may not have anticipated. I have lots of storage left on flash drive. Trying to use data up instead of putting image elsewhere.
