Why Are We Pimping Out Our Computers?

Doesnt it hurt yout eyes after been in the room that close to it?

Anway il ask my question again because no one answered...

Do you guys think modding an Off the shelf Pc and putting in a see through window is stupid?

P1mpin baby.

I'm about to p1mp out my monitor again. I moved my computer to my bedroom which is 3 times the size of the office and now I can wall mount that 37" HD LCD 1080P res of 1920x1080. I had one but took it back as it was too big without being wall mounted. It's going on sale for $800 instead of the original $1300 I had paid. SWEET. I just hope it's not sold out before I get off work on the 24th.

I started out skinning apps on my computer. I eventually found the skinners dream (Windows XP). I skinned anything and everything on XP. I then decided to build my own PC and figured I'd customize that too. I'm the sort of person that likes to personalize stuff, I don't like it when something of mine looks exactly like someone else's. If I can change what something looks like to fit me, I will do it. My bedroom is painted gold and red, my comp is shiny black with blue lights, when I get a vehicle it wont be stock colors for long, its just part of what some people are.
 
i dont mod but there has to be some satisfaction of making your case and the inside look wicked! i run a good computer for what i do and i like the fact that i do. its just a computer at the end of the day but if you like something then take pride in it. thats what its like. some people like there cars to be like the honda civic that Cromewell mentioned and its the same difference but with computers! aint no shame! and on a random note. how many people know that you into computers?
 
i dont mod really, i bought the cheapest case i could

that closest i came to modding was when i spray painted my 2 lcds black (they were different colours, one white, one grey and it looked silly... now they are both black) job done

Well that looks like two post :eek: ^^

I have had unmodded (to me boring) computers for my whole life (14 years:D ) I am finally going to get a good computer with some nice (not overdoing) lights. It just sets it apart from other computers
