Ethernet Cables

You can buy it by the foot at any hardware store, however 320ft is very maximum you should try without a repeater somewhere in there. Just ask for Cat5e cable, and they should be able to help you.

EDIT: Oh yeah, you'll have to learn how to put the RJ-45 connector on each end, but it's not hard at all and pays off if you do much networking at all. They should be about $0.10 a piece and Cat5e runs about $0.21 a foot, maybe less.

100' and 300', with the jacks attached, so you wouldn't have to do it yourself. The 300' is a bit expensive, though, compared to the others.

100 foot cable will do great for my connection thanx didn't know that ethernet cables where called cat5e
 
You cant have 1000ft of a continuous ethernet cable, since the maximum distance is 100m without a repeater.

I bought a 100ft crossover cable on Newegg for $9.

Oh they are cheaper at newegg and which brand of it did you buy
 
100ft is like 30~35 meter, right? and yes, the maximum length for a ethernet line is 100meter

as for the Cat5e name.. its the name of the cable, not for the network type you use it for. for example, Cat5 and Cat6 cables can also be used for ethernet :) (but Cat5e would be the most common used on at the moment)
