do you happen to have any links to online stores that have them thanxYou can buy it by the foot at any hardware store, however 320ft is very maximum you should try without a repeater somewhere in there. Just ask for Cat5e cable, and they should be able to help you.
EDIT: Oh yeah, you'll have to learn how to put the RJ-45 connector on each end, but it's not hard at all and pays off if you do much networking at all. They should be about $0.10 a piece and Cat5e runs about $0.21 a foot, maybe less.
100 foot cable will do great for my connection thanx didn't know that ethernet cables where called cat5eHow much do you need. Here is 1000', cant' beat $0.10 a foot:

100' and 300', with the jacks attached, so you wouldn't have to do it yourself. The 300' is a bit expensive, though, compared to the others.
Oh they are cheaper at newegg and which brand of it did you buy[-0MEGA-];571687 said:You cant have 1000ft of a continuous ethernet cable, since the maximum distance is 100m without a repeater.
I bought a 100ft crossover cable on Newegg for $9.
