Who do you think is the better INNOVATOR, Steve Jobs or Bill Gates? Why?

it was Mac who invented the first GUI with mouse and then bill gates steeled from him.
I really like steve jobs when he presents something new from apple. for example the apple tv or iPhone. the presentation was awesome. very clean, useful, understandable, beautiful. Ive seen the video and i have also seen the Windows Visa and office 07 presentation which was really really bad.
 
hard to say tbh.. they both did great. but i think Bill gates did a better job, since there is much more pc's that use windows now (marketing wise bill did a better job that is.) now.. you can be a great inventor. but if you cant get your invented product to the people right, then you have a cieved nothing :) and like said, imo bill gates did a better job on the last part.
 
I have to say bill. Even though both of them technically cheated/stole/lied their way into the business, steve might have been the greatest back then, but bill is at the top now.
 
steve job, i mean windows is important but what about the ipod? the apple? the Apple 2? The Mac? alot of important technology was invented by apple.
 
we are just normal people who use windows,
but the people who are professionals, photographers, Music, dj, In the TV, Radio, and all other places they use just Apple.
Apple is just something difference.

I would easily rather have Windows over an iPod. And the Apple is a fruit, sorry but that wasnt invented by Steve Jobs. What is the Apple 2?

A lot of the professionals that you listed use Windows as well, so I wouldn't say "they use just Apple".

I voted Bill Gates, I think the Home Computer would be very different without some of his innovations.
 
And so begins yet another endless battle of "which is better, mac or windows" don't try and deny it, that's exactly where this thread has already started heading
