Still ATI..... they make solid cards and I've never had one quit out on me. Even though the 8800 blows away the X1950XTX I still enjoy working with ATI.

why would you be bothered about how hot a card would be?
True.. a hot card is obviously turning too much power from the supply into heat, but i gues its the results on the screen that would count also.

also, why would you even want to touch a grafic's card just after you turned off the pc?

My 7900GTO Has never let me down

Upgranding to an 8 series hopefully in the near future..

they suck up 270 Watts per card. Don't think your PSU will even be close to being able to handle it. Neither will mine. Many peoples here cant.

I know mine won't, that's why I'm waiting for the cards to come out to upgrade.

I would like to see someone go out and buy an ATI card for $230 that can pull a 6K in 3DMark06... The 7900GTO can and at that price!.. ATI cant touch that!, thats not even overclocked or flash, looking at a solid 6500-7000 flashed, overclocked, and Vmoded!.. Period

If you really care about getting value for your money and performance, Nvidia is the way to go, at the moment at least. It might ALL change when X2K comes out from Ati.
