Greetings!
I'm about to buy a new computer and I'm buying it part by part. I'm a bit confused on what processor will give me the best performance. I have a BIOSTAR P4M800 Pro-M7 and that one supports P4 and D processors, so I'm deciding whether to buy the Intel Pentium 4 3.2Ghz or the Pentium D 2.8Ghz ? I'm more concerned towards gaming, programming, 3D, virtual machines and multitasking heavy apps... anybody knows which processor is better for what I'm looking for?
Thanks in advance
- DARKGuy.
P.D.: The processor specs (as I see them on the list the provider gave me) are the following ones:
* CPU Intel Pentium 4 - Model 541 - 3.2Ghz Socket 775 1Mb Cache, 800Mhz FSB.
* CPU Intel Pentium D - Model 820 - Dual Core 2.8Ghz - Socket 775 2x1Mb Cache, 800Mhz FSB.
