I don't know much about the Internet, so I'll be brief. I published some articles on web site. A few months later, I didn't want credit for the material I had submittied, so I asked the webmaster to removed my link, and he did. However, when I google the article, I can still find it, but if you go directly to the site, you can't find it because he removed it. What's happening here? Previously, this has happened to me before, but after a few months, I couldn't google the article anymore.
Also, another similar experience. I asked the webmaster of another sight to change my bio for an article I had submitted. He changed my name and info, but when I google the article, it's still under my name. However, when you press the link, the website has been changed. So how can the name already be different on the article, but when I google my name, it hasn't changed. Do these things take time?
Example: The info has been changed on the site, but when I google the new info it doesnt give me anything. However, when I google my name, the sites comes up, but when you click on the site, my name is gone and the new name is there.
So is the question is: if the new name is on the site, why doesn't it appear in a google search?
