Laptop Upgrades.

I've never done it, but it shouldnt be that hard. You dont even have to remove the laptop chassis, I believe it can just slide out.

upgrading the harddrive is very easy. the most screws you have to unscrew is be about 8. all you have to do is take of the harddrive panel and the bracket that holds it.

The SATA controllers in most newer laptops will support two HDDs, but there is no place to install the 2nd one. Otherwise the only real options for upgrading are memory and a better optical drive. Laptop coolers and a 2nd battery are also a good idea. Wish there were kits to build your own

there are kits to build your own laptop. ASUS just released a new one

idk, they might be. there are other laptop barebone kits that have been around for years
just google it you will come up with something

How easy is it to upgrade a laptop hard drive?

Thanks
swaping HDDs is easy, just make sure the interface is the same. adding a new one means youll need a mounting bracket and maybe an adapter. just do your homework and things should be easy:cool:
then again, if your laptop can only take 1 hdd, youll need to get your OS back onto the new HDD, and that can get quite complicated...
