The 8600GT is a decent laptop video card, and it does support DX10 which is a plus. Although it's not considered a high end graphics card.http://ie.computers.toshiba-europe....ervice=IE&PRODUCT_ID=131017&toshibaShop=false

Sounds like you're getting confused with nVidia's modeling scheme. The higher the model number, the better, but only when comparing cards in the same class (ie. comparing the 7600GT to the 7900GTX, not a 7950GTX to an 8600GT).oh ok on TRF there like no get the 7950GTX how can that be faster!!!it's a shader model 3 DX9 card
Thats a great laptop, it has a fast processor, lots of RAM, and the 8700GT is a pretty good gaming card, but still no where near as good as the 7950GTX.
