The QX6700 hasnt dropped in price yet, so it's been that price since the Q6600 cost around $530.wow that's some huge difference.. what's so good about 6700? besides that it's new
the q6600 is supposed to be dropping to $266 (£133), the cheapest i've seen it is £170 ($340) but i think over the next few days the prices will drop more
I saw the Q6700 for $349 in here http://www.compsource.com/ttechnote.asp?part_no=BX80562Q6700&vid=211&src=F
Its really cheap compared to $900 something.
Q6700 is supposed to be $530, it doesn't have unlocked multiplier like QX6700, but it consume less power.....
uh... today is 22nd, price drop all overyes.
does anybody know how much in price the qx6700 will be dropping to?
uh... today is 22nd, price drop all over(don't hold me to it).
It will eventually drop....
I'm pretty happy with the price drop,
Now all I have to do is come up with the $500-$600 I need for my hardware upgrades ($250 mobo, DDR3 RAM, $266 proc)
Right, but they probably didn't stock many, knowing the price would drop from intel, so they could very-well have freshly stocked shelves. (on quarcores anyway)i'm assuming there will be a slight delay in some of the drops because the company(such as newegg) would lose money of they sold the stock they had for lower when they bought it for the higher price.
