I tend to doubt that you would see the best results on all AM2 models Gigabyte makes. The AM2+ boards see a design change not simply a bios revision that will extend a degree of support in order to see the new models run. For a new build with a Phenon in mind you would use an AM2+ type board for the best results.
I guess you got that info from post 13 and post 16 because on post 15 you seem to not know that it could. Up untill today you have been calling it AM3 not AM2+ and then start talking about the differences after I had already explained the difference. And I was telling you days ago that a AM2+ boards was the way to go even if your buying a AM2 processor. It would be better if you just answered questions that you know something about instead of answering it wrong and coming back with some computer copy noob answer!
