Here's what I'm working with,
http://www.superwarehouse.com/Sony_VAIO_RB30C/VGC-RB30/ps/471790.
Before you say anything, it was a gift
it was an upgrade over the laptop I had at the time. The machine is mainly used for gaming and I can say the experience so far hasnt been too great.
Budget: .....LAWL! College plus my other "hobbies" bwahahaha...ahmm, unfortunately aren't going to allow me to get anything over the top. I was hoping there was some way i could upgrade the motherboard, power supply, cooling system, and add a video card while retaining all the other parts(case, HDD, dvd-rom, etc) $300-400 is the range I'm aiming for.
I guess my question is, is this upgrade possible with the current parts/worth it? Or am i better off saving a bit longer and building a new computer from the bottom up?
