Right, so do all I need to do to get a an ISO to be bootable (to load the OS) is stick the .ISO file on a CD, right?
Also, what do I need to do get my USB Receiver working to get the internet on it?

Just use an application that has the option to burn image. Choose burn image and point it to the ISO.

for what burning an image file? I always have used Nero on Windows, K3b on Linux and the finder in OS X.
