I tried it again without the side panel and here is what I got after idling for 10 minutes at the system monitor screen.
CPU - 38C
Board - 27C
MCP - 73C
What is MCP, that looks like it is running hot. I guess I just have to use my computer without the side panel.
The MCP is the northbridge, the Nvidia chipset. Those are good temps (MCE may be a little high). Don't worry about that right now. Try to install Windows. What did you do differently, besides removing side-panel? Did you re-apply thermal grease and heatsink? You need to know what you did for troubleshooting purposes.
