    New monitor

realise that the both of them are 21.5" viewable, so the screen size is the same. get the bottom one, the cheaper one. it comes with an hdmi input and it has the same resolution as the top one

    220 GT or 250 GTS

gts250 is way better. but i think you should get the 220, buy the gts250 off newegg, then sell the 220 on craigslist haha

    GTX 260 handle 26" 1920x1200??

if you got, say a 24" that runs 1920x1200 native, you wont really need to even really run the AA much at all because its already super crisp ive got an 8800gts on 22"1680x1050 monitor and i run every game maxed fine, even with AA, but any AA for me past 2x seems pointless given that, i...

Need some help with port forwarding Call Of Duty WaW

I can't seem to get the port forwarding to work. I choose the right start and end ports, I type in my lan ip, type in the service name... it still doesnt work. I read that you are supposed to enable static ip, but I can't do that and have working internet. Mine is set to dynamic, and as soon as...

do any video cards carry audio?

a bunch of the newer cards have that, if you use the dvi to hdmi adapter and hookup the cable to your spdif jack on your mobo, it will carry the sound through the hdmi. my old bfg 8800gts g80 even had that. haha

what do you think of this build?

well i pieced in that msi mobo, the 850w psu, gtx275's from xfx, gskill, changed my mind about the nzxt tempest and decided on antec nine hundred v.2, and the western digital drives. $1,748.89 before shipping and rebates. not bad :) gah now i just cant wait to get paid!!!!

what do you think of this build?

well the 1792 mb version of the gtx275 is over 300 bucks. i think im pretty set on sticking with the gtx280 unless the gtx275 overclocked can beat a gtx280 overclocked. the memory is pretty appealing on the 280 tho if its not likely the 750 watt will be plenty of power, ill get the 850 and...

what do you think of this build?

as far as gtx275, why would i spend about the same amount for less video ram at a lower bit? 280 has 1gb 512 bit, 275 has 898mb 448 bit. relatively the same price between the two i didnt think id find a core i7 and mobo for about that, along with that ram? thats pretty cheap! looks like with...

what do you think of this build?

it was the best i could piece together around 2000. I didn't put a ton of work in looking for combo deals, but newegg is awesome with shipping and alot of my pieces have mail in rebates. let me know what you think, or if you can piece together something much better for around the same price...

    Refrigerated Computer?

you'd definitely run into condensation problems. i think the most logical way would be to grab a mini fridge, drill a couple holes at the top and route lines through it, put a radiator in it or get some copper tubes to run through a bowl of water, and have your computer watercooled. basically...

think this 800gts is worth it?

update: i got the card. i talked him down to 75, and im glad i bought it. this card is great. i overclocked it to 800mhz core and 2210 memory and its stable. its a beast, it blows away the 9800gt i had, and it blows away my g80 8800gts. it stays at about 41 idle and 52 load with that overclock...
