k first off, check to see if your laptop has the correct divers installed for your PCMCIA slot then just install the drivers that came with your card and cross your fingers and hope it works... if you need more help, try contacting the user that sold u the item:confused:

i hae to agree that cpu is verrry high seeing as how mine runs at 30C and I've a Toshiba M115-S3094 with a Centrino Dual Core Processor.... maybe that model has a design flaw???

the xps m1330 is great computer and is the best bang for the buck out of your linup... sonys tend to be on the more expensive side...

actually i dont think photoshop utilizes dual cores meaning that the HP would be the faster computer (by a little probably not noticeable fraction). It all depends on what you need to be using the laptop for... for shangfatts needs... i would suggest the HP... EDIT: if you dont need a windows...

try unplugging eveything connected to your laptop ie: external HDD, any peripherals, even eject any cd's left inside the cd drive then try rebooting and see if it gives u the same error... if it does, your windows c: drive is unmountable and is probably a lost cause :(
