umm you probably bought the OEM one...which isnt like retail in which you get everything included in the manufacturers box.

yes with that budget way2evil's config seems good...getting a fairly nice video card with that setup...one minor issue lol....i would get different cheaper memory.

i despise alienware....basically you are paying a whole lot more money than you could be for the logo of alienware and a nice looking case...

a desktop can give u better performance, gaming, video editing and such for that budget if you go with a laptop its gonna be pretty good also with that budget one good thing is you can take it anywhere, most restaurants and cafes or bookstores and such near big colleges that ive seen have...

get the 7900GTX...theres one pro...it shud last a while...

are you sure someone didnt play a prank and switched the 2 buttons and you didnt realize that they were switched because you might not know where all the keys go...its very possible

i was just kiddin dude its not that loud...and the little noise it does make is probably because of the motor in the generic hard drives the big name brand companies use to make the computer cheap..
