Pretty much all KVM switches suck. Nobody can make a descent one. I just purchased an IOGear 4 port KVM off of newegg for like $30. Ill let you know how it works with my set up when i get it for my store.

You shouldn't have a problem... I've never had a problem doing it. Just install it to the different location. Your PC will load it up alright!
