I am getting to the stage of creating sites with html. I want to have a navbar on top and text in the middle of the page. How do i position things? Oh, and i use css. I find position:absolute takes to much time and effort

how can you get control of a remote server? would it not be secure from hackers?

I'm going to create a navigation bar that will appear on a few hundred pages. Should I use Fireworks to create it or Dreamweaver? I will be using Dreamweaver for the site anyway.

Does every website have to be made with HTML. The reason I ask is when your on a website the protocol is HTTP. I don't know much about protocols and stuff but it seems to make sense, Hypertext Transfer protocol transfers Hypertext Markup Language.
