    Yeah, the only way to "take it off" would be to physically cut it from the rest of it, and the first leak of air into it(since its a vacumm) would cause a inplosion, and your face would not be very happy.

    I didn't see anywhere were he wanted to play at high settings.... If you have a PCI-E Slot, which i kind of doubt...get a 7300LE for 30$ or a GS for 45$, If you have an APG, you could try getting a Geforce 5500 which would play it much better then the MX 4000, but you might weant to invest...

    He only had two ram slots, he was going to up one of his 512's to a GB. I would go for the 1.5GB, then later on for your next upgrade you can uprgade the other and you wil have 2GB and dual chanell again.

    Maybe if it was terrible latceny, but lets take regular DDR for example, 3.0 is high 2.0 is low and 2.5 is regular, the price vs performace would be much better getting 2.5 latceny of 2GB rather then 2.0 1GB anyday.

    depends what games your looking to play. The BFG Tech 6600 128Mb will play F.E.A.R, COD2, WoW, and BF2 perfectly fine. With the excpetion of f.e.a.r(and maybe cod2, i cant remember how i had my settings, been to long) on meduim-high settings.
