    how to block a program.

Depends on the OS. Only windows vista (not sure though) and windows 7 provide advanced firewalling options by default. And if the users are local admin they can still change those. If they aren't local admin you'd be better of deleting the application all together.

Nexxt AP and Two 2wire modems

I don't see any nexxt accesspoints on their website. Only routers. If you have on of those judging from a quick view on the specs. It would be a no. You would need a more advanced router. I know some draytek routers provide the option. You need a dual wan router with load balancing support...

    Network went to hell

-_- No offense, but do you mind putting back the problem you posted? And also post the solution to the problem. If everybody would act like you do the internet/ forums would be a lot less helpfull.

    Online Gaming via WiFi

IF, and I emphasize the if. If you're wireless signal is the only problem and you won't to use it for gaming. I wouldn't go for a repeater. It cuts the speed in half and adds to your latency/ping. I'd figure out if you can get a better wireless accesspoint. What are you using right now? What...

    how to block a program.

You could stop people from installing it. Don't give them admin rights and uninstall if they have it. You could stop the programs from being able to communicate outside. Lookup the port the programs use and create a rule that blocks that port going to outside network.

I cant get any help anywhere about w2k server

20 seconds of google work For a full dns name you usually use a domain name (like company.com) but you switch the top lvl domain name (.com) with .local. But that's just a best practice. Not specifically needed. edit: the website i posted above has loads of info on this kinda of stuff...

    Domain Controller (AD)

You can setup ip addressing stuff on the router the same as all the other computers in the network. Just give it a static ip outside of the dhcp range of router. If you want to use it as a domain controller you have to point the dns to itself (127.0.0.1). But that'll probably be done...

Setting Up Windows Server 2003 from scratch

Uhmm why do you want to do this? If you don't have any knowledge at all at doing this kind of stuff it'll do more bad than good. If you really want to go through with this do check your network topology. If that second router really functions as a router. So it's doing nat you'd have 2...

Access to device connected to sub-network

That's about it for bridging yes. For a gateway on the network settings of the linux receiver you should pick the ip of the laptop connected to it on the network card that is connected to the receiver. You should be able to set this also in the DHCP server you're using. Although i'm not sure...

Access to device connected to sub-network

Yup. Don't know what OS you're running and how the network interface towards the sat receiver is configured. But if it's windows xp or higher with normal network interfaces it's pretty straightforward. For the second question you can refer to this technet article. You have to make your laptop...

    WAN Problems

Well if the building is like 7 miles down the road. Obvious question would be how's the connection setup? Can't use normal utp for that kind of distance. I'd start by testing the connection between the 2 buildings. Speed, packetloss etc.

Access to device connected to sub-network

You need to setup internet bridging on the laptop connected to the satellite dish. And then add a route to the satellite subnet on the computer you're trying the access the satellite from. Questien clear enough? :P

    Server Noob

How are you planning to manage this? Do you have any knowledge of setting up (web)servers? I do have the knowledge but i just don't want the hassle of setting up and maintaining a web server at home. Not to mention the power costs. Setting up you're own server do to this kind of stuff usually...

question about vpn and setting it up

If vpn isn't an option you can always try the tunneling part. You only have to run putty for that which is a portable application, no reason for install. And it doesn't matter what kind of game it is. Anything will be way to slow and laggy. It simply doesn't refresh fast enough.

question about vpn and setting it up

Remote desktop viewers are never fast enough to play games. I can tell you that. Your only option known to me is to setup vpn. Or you could try to use a ssh tunnel. but i haven't used that myself.

    asking windows server 2008

Looking at your other thread i assume you've got a domain set up. I wouldn't know any way to do this except for setting up a decent firewall with AD integration.
