no performance boost at all unless you have the dual graphics cards, except if its a low end single pci-e x16 motherboard. but there are top of the line single pci-e x16 motherboards that work just as good as any sli motherboards.
that asus A8R MVP board is nice, and its good that it works with yoiur vid card to upgrade to crossfire later, just an option. that latest build seems like it will be nice for you.
hes gonna say something like, calling out admins personally will get your thread ignored. just my guess. lol nice thread though. i like all the science behind it.
AM2 supports DDR2 RAM. also there is a change in the HTT it will be 333 MHz stock i think. but id get the socket 939 build right now, as it will still compete with AM2 i believe when AM2 finally does release.
i wouldnt trust those reviews as most of those people dont know what the are oing, also EVGA is a decent brand i dont think they would make a piece of crap motherboard, but its worth looking into.
yea whats the deal are you advertising or someting. need to get that pile sold quickly? you know your going to get banned or something thats not cool.
and me, id go for the 2x 250 GB drives but wouldnt put them in RAID, as i dont think it gives a noticable gain in performance.
