What does the 'PSU fan' connector on the mb do?

I've never had one on any of my power supplies, so I would say its fine without! I'd guess that it's just if you want to be able to control the speen of the fan in it.

    Socket A Mobo

there's not really anything that uses the RAM that you bought I'm afraid, it's quite old. as for the graphics card, there may be a mobo or 2 that still use AGP, though not necessarily, all the low end ones I looked at (intel) were pci express. as for the power supply, they're fairly generic, so...

    Socket A Mobo

If you're fairly convinced it's your mobo then you can get a replacement, there's one on ebuyer (literally one) http://www.ebuyer.com/product/102909 but personally I would upgrade to something slightly more recent, in which case, it depends what you want to use it for really!

Windows 7 Compatibility with wireless router help

I would have thought so, unless you've got a reeeally big house then it should be fine. I can reach my wireless from the front of my house over a dual carriageway to the house over the other road (I tried it once while I was over there) so I wouldn't have thought there would be an issue unless...

Windows 7 Compatibility with wireless router help

if it didnt work then I wouldn't have thought that it was due to the operating system, it would wither be you don't have the drivers for the network card or there was something wrong with the router (or network cable), especially if it's the wired connection that didn't work. Routers are...

    Windows 7 or Windows Vista?

you can get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/download.aspx I also prefer windows 7, having used vista for a bit I've definately found that 7 is faster than vista at least. I use 7 on my main pc and it's fine. The only issue I have is it not having drivers for my tv...

Windows 7 Compatibility with wireless router help

What do you mean compatible? You just need to connect to it via wireless or wired, so you just need the drivers for your network card to work.

    Overheating Issue on my TravelMate

do you mean it turns itself off? one possible solution is taking it apart and cleaning out the heatsink and fan on the processor, and maybe even applying some more paste onto the processor, that should help the airflow and dissipate the heat better

    Dual Screens possible?

I googled it quickly and didnt see anything in reference to needing a certain type of graphics card to display on a 30" screen. Also, I can't think how they would know the difference between the physical size of the screen, just the pixel count but maybe that's just me not knowing!

    Dual Screens possible?

I would have thought it would be fine. Can't say as I know what they're talking about it needing to be "strong enough". I would have thought it's just down to the res of the screen you're connecting to. Are you using hdmi?
