Yeah I did, still unallocated. But I've googled around for solutions and from what I've seen partition recovery tools like MiniTool can recover the data. I tried a couple and it takes a while to scane but it does find the data that was on the drive, however these kinds of programs don't let you...

Okay, I tried doing both and both drives are still unallocated. :(

How do I go about uninstalling a windows update? I didn't set a recovery point unfortunately, is there still a way to do it? And I'll try test them out on my girlfriends pc later.

[SOLVED] Just wanted to update this thread in case anyone ever finds it having the same issue. I mentioned in the comments that a program called MiniTool Partition Wizard was able to scan the unallocated drive and view the files, but it wouldn't let me recover them without paying for the pro...

Are these adapters safe to use? I've come across a scenario where my psu has a 6+2 pin pcie, but my graphics card has two 6 pin pcie. If not, are there any other ways to solve this problem?
