I just got myself a new ram kit 3000 instead of 3200 this time. It should arrive in a couple of days

The other one is still bas tho. Sorry it's a dumb mistake, I am used to dimm slots with 2 clips each side but thid mobo only have them on one side yet it hss to clic on both sided.

I realized I wasn't cliping the ram all the way ( shame on me) now the first stick works in all slots

I tried installing the second dimm but then the led turns solid red... i guess the second dimm is kaput? The first dimm does work perfectly and appears in the bios!

Managed to get into de bios, and update it with the usb! Should I try installing the second dimm an see if it works normally?

I just tried that but now I get the same error when it used to work 10 min ago! I was very carefull when installing and removing the ram :/ I am very confused

Yeah looks like 3 dimm slots are bad and 1 stick is bad....

NEWS! I tried again one stick at a time in each slot. First Dimm did not work in any slot. Second Dimm worked but only in the first slot.... I can't really use the first slot because of the cpu radiator fan (I had to remove the fan). Is it safe to try and update the BIOS from usb with the only...

I did exaclty like you said (downloaded the latest bios update from assus 1302, unziped it, put the file in a formated usb ) but it still didn't work. The ram is properly installed and I tried with 2 different keyboards with no succes. The screen still says no signal and the orange led stays on...
