Can I load XP Professional over Home Edition?

Yeah, 4 GB of RAM should be enough to run Windows 10 pretty well. If you really want to use XP after that just load it in VirtualBox (since VMWare has annoying sound bugs in W10 running 2000 or XP guests).

    Windows Vista

So, Windows Vista, what did you think of it? Was it a terrible OS that could be compared to the abominating crash-fest that is Windows ME, or did you view it highly? I'm in the latter camp. I feel that Windows Vista improved on a lot of things, such as bringing a nicer, sleek design to the...

Getting original Tetris to run on Win10

Game Boy version was probably the version that made the game most popular with people...

    Favourite operating system?

Yeah. I think the reminder of a simpler time for one makes things have better value to them. That said, there are some exceptions, unrelated to computers, I prefer the PS2 over the GameCube, despite growing up with both (but did get the GC first), so nostalgia doesn't always play a high part in...

    Windows 10

Windows 10 is a very nice OS, I feel the UI is rather appealing to my eye, and it works with most programs I use absolutely fine. It's also fast and works relatively well, although not as well-optimised as Mac OS, I feel that they've done a better job with optimisation here than Windows 7. It's...

    Favourite operating system?

iOS is a mobile OS, but I have to agree, it's a lot simpler to use than Android, hence why it is probably hated by so many technology geeks. (Not including myself, I actually still own a 4S)

    Show your Desktops!

I didn't see an active thread on posting our desktop wallpapers to show how organised (or maybe not?) our computer desktops look. So, I have decided to make this a thread here. It's not a bad idea, and I've seen it on many tech-related forums. Here's mine, I just did a fresh install of OS X to...

    Favourite operating system?

What are your favourite operating systems? Mine is Windows XP. I personally feel it brought the perfect experience to the end-user, whether home or business, even if someone had never used a computer before. I grew up using the OS mostly to mess around but that messing around also gave me some...

Getting original Tetris to run on Win10

I know this is a relatively old thread, but why didn't anyone suggest DOSBox?

Any Microsoft Edge users out there?

I love Microsoft Edge! It's a huge step-up from Internet Explorer (which already was improving after version 8 and onwards), it runs a lot lighter and smoother on Windows 10 than any other web browser I have tried on the OS. I tried Firefox, which is nowadays copying Chrome (who remembers the...

PS3 Gamepad to MacOS With No Drivers?

Microsoft don't want to stock a rival company's drivers, most probably. -.-
