I also second the opinion of OscaryU1. A Quad Core processor is overpriced and you will just be burning your money. There is no future proofing yourself with buying the latest computer hardware since it is always getting better. Get the Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 processor.

If you really want a top of the line processor get the Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 for $280 at NewEgg.com.

ok so heres the list that it looks like im going to be getting i would still like input as to what people think because this is going to take awhile to put together all of the funds for this and i will prolly be getting one thing a week until its all done

processor intel e6750 duo core 2.66ghz
psu- thermaltake 700w
memory- 2gb corsair ddr2 800

OCZ 700Watt

all that for 801.54 after tax.

ok new question, prolly stupid so sry, but when i buy the processor, does it come with a heatsink and fan or is that something that i have to buy seperate?
