I'm looking to get a 1080p monitor for around $200 (I know it's kind of a low budget
) I'm hoping to get HDMI as well as DVI so I can hook an xbox and PC up to it at the same time. Screen size isn't a huge factor. In fact, should I be cautious of the 24" being too big (I currently have 19" and sit about 2 feet away from it)?
I'm currently looking at:
ASUS VH242H http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4942567&sku=A466-2406
Acer X233Hbid http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4401406&CatId=12
Acer H233Hbmid http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...s.asp?EdpNo=4415284&sku=A179-2302&srkey=H233H
Does anyone have any experience with these monitors? How do they compare? Is it worth the extra $30ish to get an LG or Samsung? I'm open to any other suggestions.
Also, just on a side note, will I see a large performance hit upgrading from 1440x900 to 1080p?
I'm ordering from TD since they have a better return policy for dead pixels.
