Well you're also wasting how how much money getting that PSU? Seriously...the max power draw of the 9800GX2 is 197 watts, two of them is less than 400 watt...

Wow 40a only, I would have expected more, heck my old x1950 Pro wanted 28a. I would agree a single line is better, but I don't know of a PSU with a single line rating of 40a. Very few PSU's cross 20 on single lines.

The Ultra X3 has a single line rating of 70a.

Yeah, it's great how GPU power keeps shooting forward but power req. are just steadily increasing, if that.
