Ok I miss understood you there, I will further look into what card will work better for me. I do prefer AMD GPUs but I figured with CUDA a GTX card would be better for rendering.

I think all graphics cards are unlocked, they are not like CPUs. GET THE GIGABYTE. It isnt just features for the price, its the the RMA service and support which is terrible compared to gigabyte and MSI.

Wait you said Gigabyte's service is terrible compared to Gigabyte and MSI? lol makin my confused now.

Not sure if thats true about all GPU's being unlocked. I know for the sure that my HD6750 is locked.

(edit)
I looked up Gigabytes customer service and saw a lot of people having very bad service, some good but mostly bad. so I assume thats what you ment. I seems EVGA is the most recommended.

I know that I want a GTX 670 so maybe when it comes time ill flip a coin for it or something ;-)

Nothing wrong with Gigabyte's service. I reckon by the time the card starts giving your problems, it'll be time to upgrade anyway.

And yes, EVGA are a great brand for NVIDIA. I personally recommend Sapphire for AMD too.

Alright, good info. Thanks.

I have another question. What +250GB SSD would you recommend for a Raid 1 set up for running win 7 and steam games and a few other apps? My steam game file is currently 120GB.

(edit)

Alright I looked to see if the H110 would fit in the HAF-X without any modding turns out the screw holes do not line up.

I found a real good thread here displaying a lot of compatibility info.

Im now going with the H100, the Corsair 650D case and 2 sets of Corsair 120mm radiator fans. its a tight squeeze but possible with this case and the Sabertooth Z77. The H100 also sometimes does not fit in the HAF-X in push/pull depending on your other hardware it seems.

I don't recommend using any sort of RAID with SSDs, whether it be RAID-1 or RAID-0.

Don't waste your SSD space on games. you barely get any benefit. SSD for OS and frequently used programs. HDD for Games and media.

Looks good, but the velociraptor is small. And with the SSD I Don't think you really need the speed, just get a 2 tb black.

Oops I linked the wrong hard drive, was going for the 1TB velociraptor. Its a bit pricey though. So I will go for the 2TB WB black.

Haha nice suggestion Benny boy! guess that would be the best choice for someone who couldn't make up there mind. I'd rather go with a SSD and HD separate though.

Im still going for the hyperX 240GB SSD, Why? because I want to. hehe

Im going to update the first post with the new list. I say its pretty much finished and will be purchased as soon as possible. hopefully before new hardware comes out *rolls eyes*

Thank you everyone! As usual this forum and the community has been very helpful.
