I've heard E8XXX series will out on 20 Jan.
Q9XXX series unknown, may be Feb/ Mar.

I read that page, and the related articles, a couple weeks ago. There's nothing about the dual-cores being released on the 20th. Intel has stated that they plan to release the rest of the 45nm procs Q1 2008, the latest being March 31st.

For freakin' 4 2.66 cores, all in 45nm, with 12mb of cache, at 1333mhz bus, only 530 bucks? even at 1K prices, that sounds like a steal.
