sounds like atrifacts. Whats the GPU temp running at. Artifacts come form too much heat and or overclocked too much.

don't know,the graphic card is stock,do i need to turn up the fan or something to cool it down?
Install something like PC Wizard and see what temp. your cards running at.

download it and all i see on my other computer is cpu temp only can figure out how to see gpu temp.

You click on the meter with the -/+ at the left and it shows what the voltage and temps are. What do you mean by you installed it on ( your other computer).
HWMonitor and PC Wizard are made by the same company. The Temps. on them will be the same. Plus PC Wizard gives you all your hardware info.

well i dont have the computer right now but i need to gget it fix before tomorrow afternoon.
so i assume it is over heating how can i fix the problem?

is there a software i can turn up the fan? maybe the company set the fan speed low.

all ati cards i have had an option to enable manual fan....
but on closer inspection it seems like that option is not available on anything bellow 4800 range

WEll heres the fix to that.
GO into the registry editor and do the following
FanSpeedPercentActual_NA
FanSpeedPercentTarget_NA
FanSpeedRPMActual_NA
FanSpeedRPMTarget_NA
Find these enteries and change the default "1" to "2
This should enable fan control in CCC

FOr got ot say once u edit registry you have to reboot for CCC to take in effect the changes

If the above down work in registry editor do This. Its the same.
Make a profile in catalyst after turning on Overdrive and make sure clock and memory settings are correct.
For Vista
Then go to the following location and open the following file for editing "C:\Users\Your Windows ID\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Your CCC Profile.XML. The xml file will have the same name as the Catalyst Profile you saved. right click and hit edit.
For XP
Then go to the following location and open the following file for editing "C:\Documents and Settings\Your Windows ID\Local Settings\Application Data\ATI\ACE\Your CCC Profile.XML. The xml file will have the same name as the Catalyst Profile you saved. right click and hit edit.
Now go down the page until you see the following lines in the XML file ...
<Feature name="FanSpeedAlgorithm_0">
<Property name="FanSpeedAlgorithm" value="Automatic" />
</Feature>
<Feature name="FanSpeedRPMTarget_0">
<Property name="Want" value="0" />
</Feature>
<Feature name="FanSpeedPercentTarget_0">
<Property name="Want" value="23" />
Change the "Property name="FanSpeedAlgorithm" value=" from "Automatic" to "Manual"
Then change "Property name="Want" value=" from "23" to your desired fan speed.
Save the file then reload the Profile you just edited in the CCC.
You will have to select the profile everytime you re-start the computer.
Be sure to also set:

well it was the graphic card shit wasn't even over heating so i assume it was a defect,so i bought the same kind of graphic card at micro center and swap them out and it fix my problem.
