5970 is out on HIS

has anyone actually seen one of these yet? i still want to know how long it is, lol
i know its huge, but how huge is it?

as soon as you get it take measuring tape to it. even tho i think if decided to get 2 5870's and crossfire them. its faster because the 5970 has lower clock rates than the 5870. and it will only cost me the pirce of one 5870 :P

True, it does have a lower clock, but I know you can clock them up to the 5870 really easliy the only problem is power. I only have a 650watt PSU so I am going to have to see if I can add all that extra voltage to my PCI-E slot.
 
the 5970 has lower clocks because they had to keep it within ATX standards (under 300w TDP) thats why it comes with volt mod software - it's begging to be overclocked.
 
ya well i think ill stick the 2 5870's i got a 850w psu anyways so it can handle it, and i think having two looks cooler :P
