My x1600PRO got 6770 stock in 3DMark03, and with the same exact hardware, except this time its a 7600GS, and i got 10484 stock. Imagine when its oc'd!!
Thats the 7600GT, not 7600GS. The GT version costs about $50-$70 more.filip-matijevic said:Wait, wait, wait, it says 13,736 on the site you've posted, wtf, your score is... I would have to say... alot lower then it should be.

Cost - the 7600GS is $99 after MIR, a 7600GT is $155. One would expect a 6800GT to be better than a 7600GS.Nutcase said:I just don´t get it. Why you bought that 7600GS?
My 6800GT benches better that that when OC'ed. I got like 5950 in 3DMark05. Wouldn´t 7600GT be better? I don´t see the point here..
Given the already significant factory OC, I wouldn't expect too much more out of it. Every chip is different, though.Imagine when its oc'd!!
To be fair, i've seen figures both ways. I'd certainly prefer an X1800XT myself, though.Ok, you guys need to catch up on your learning.

An X850XT at $125? Where? I seriously doubt it will drop to that price - it's actually increased over the last few months.if u getting a $125 dollar card, i would recomend trying to wait and get a x850xt...only card with 16pixel pipelines in that price range and it has good memory clock and core clock...
I'm still waiting for some evidence on these two.7900GTX is better then the x1900xtx, thats for sure...
but the x850xt is better then the 7600GT
Glad you're pleased. I hope the real-world performance shows as much of a benefit. All i have to say is WOW.

Exactly, the 7600GS is around $100, where as the 6800GT is around $200, so obviously the 6800GT will be better.Cost - the 7600GS is $99 after MIR, a 7600GT is $155. One would expect a 6800GT to be better than a 7600GS.
Agree'd, but so far i already oc'd it another 50/30 or so. And i think a 200Mhz overclock on the core is pretty significant.Given the already significant factory OC, I wouldn't expect too much more out of it. Every chip is different, though.
Yes it has, before i got 70fps for the CSS stress test, and now i get 134fps. And before i could only run NFSMW on medium settings @ 1024x768 at around 30fps, and now i run it almost maxed out @ 1280x1024 around 30fps.Glad you're pleased. I hope the real-world performance shows as much of a benefit.
Most of the 7600GS's only use a heatsink. The card i have uses a fan, and im just using that. However i am thinking about putting some AS5 on it soon.spraybottle said:Dude, what are you using to cool that thing? I mean how are you able to overclock that thing so much? How bout a 7600 gt? You think that would overclock even more?
What brand u r actually have???[-0MEGA-] said:Most of the 7600GS's only use a heatsink. The card i have uses a fan, and im just using that. However i am thinking about putting some AS5 on it soon.
